In February of 2018 I had the opportunity to present a solo show of bird sculptures/interactive toys in the Gordon Square Art Space, on the West side of Cleveland. Viewers were encouraged to touch and play with the birds. Some played a message when squeezed, one had a deep throat that one could reach into and find a surprise, and the rest were simply small and cuddly. Five of the toys were accompanied by personal essays, which were handed out to viewers in a pamphlet.
